After completing my Master Degree, I took an additional 2-year program in Expressive Arts Education & Therapy. I was blessed to be trained under the direction of Natalie Rogers PhD. in California. She is the daughter of Carl Rogers, founder of Humanistic Psychology and the Person-Centered Approach.

Natalie recently passed away and I was fortunate to be in her last cohort. I will be attending her memorial December 5, 2016 in California. There I will celebrate her life, along with many others, and dedicate this first issue of MORE ABOUT AUTISM to her.

I hold a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia. I personally strive to learn from credible sources. Therefore, here I offer you the most up-to-date information from reliable sources.

My teaching degree was obtained through the University of Victoria.

I hold a Master Degree in Transpersonal Psychology with a specialization in Creativity and Innovation through Sofia University.

Trained in the Person-Centered approach and discovery-based learning, I am curious about HOW WE LEARN and each person’s exceptional PROCESS of learning. I hold a keen interest in irrational ways of knowing and strive to embody a perspective honoring each individual’s unique potential.

BC’s New Curriculum is of great interest to me. I am currently preparing to support educators in how to deliver and embody these changes. My post-graduate studies, under the direction of Natalie Rogers PhD.. has prepared me well to serve other educators in this endeavour.

As a Canadian-based licensed teacher I aim to expand and share how we might embody education from a more person-centered, trans-personal perspective.

I am the owner of Red Apple Publishing.
